Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to respond quickly to service requests across a territory, troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, printers, scales, and network gear, and maintain accurate inventory and records.

The role emphasizes strong documentation, customer interaction, and after-hours availability, with travel within a ~150-mile radius and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field (Preferred)
• Prior retail experience (Preferred)
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required)
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details and parts used
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team professionally
• Maintain regular and after-hours availability when needed
• Willingness to travel within ~150 miles with limited overnight stays
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment
