Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to ensure timely response to service requests for customer sites within the assigned territory. The role covers POS hardware and related equipment, with emphasis on diagnostics, repair, and thorough testing of all components.

The position requires ability to travel roughly within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays, and a focus on accurate documentation and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in IT or related tech field.
• Minimum 1 year in technology service (preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team professionally.
• Maintain after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within territory, typically within a 150-mile radius, with limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools as needed in performance of duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS equipment and other hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as required.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct; adhere to deadlines.
