Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to service customer sites within the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment, ensuring timely response and accurate documentation.

You will travel within a 150-mile radius, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain inventory and company-issued resources. Strong customer service and IT hardware knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience in technology service preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details accurately.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius, limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to verify functionality.
• Use basic hand tools and test equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related equipment.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
• Keep vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition.
