Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to handle in-store service for customers within an assigned territory. You will respond to requests, troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, printers, scales, and network devices, and document activities with precision.

The role requires a technical background, strong customer service, and the ability to travel within a 150-mile radius with occasional overnight stays. Compensation is hourly with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience; retail preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of networking and wireless devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document all details.
• Communicate clearly with store personnel and TRUNO team.
• Travel up to 150 miles with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment delivery.
• Maintain inventory and perform preventative maintenance on hardware.
