Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to ensure timely response to service requests across assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment, and test thoroughly to meet customer needs.

You will maintain accurate spare parts inventory, document actions clearly, travel within a 150-mile radius as needed, and uphold confidentiality while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related technology field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred).
• Prior retail experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware (Preferred).
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details thoroughly.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team professionally.
• Maintain availability for regular hours and after-hours as needed.
• Travel within ~150 miles when required, limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools as needed for assigned duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS and related hardware.
• Configure software/hardware, installs and upgrades as needed.
• Be organized, prepared, and maintain professional conduct.
• Adhere to confidentiality and company policies.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
