Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests across customer sites in the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network gear, while maintaining inventory and documenting all activities with precision.

The role requires strong customer service, basic IT hardware knowledge, and the ability to travel within a 150-mile radius with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly with detailed documentation.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and Truno team.
• Maintain regular and after-hours availability as needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius, occasional overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related devices.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades.
• Maintain inventory and manage company assets and tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
