You will prepare announcements on policy implementation and document changes to inform the public in non-technical terms, collaborating with technical and non-technical staff.

The role requires strong writing/editing skills, experience with Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat, and the ability to manage multiple projects to strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, technical writing, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience working with industry writing style and grammar.
• Writing and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Researches, writes, and edits State policy for use in articles, manuals, and user guides.
• Writes announcements regarding policy implementation and changes to systems that support State policy.
• Collaborates with technical and non-technical staff to prepare clear materials.
• Coordinates multiple projects and meets deadlines; communicates with internal/external customers.
