Job summary

Gainwell Technologies seeks a Technical Writer Early Career to join a virtual US-based team. You will research, write, and edit technical data for manuals and online help, then package development documentation from design specs and project inputs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with desktop publishing and online documentation tools, and strong writing and editing skills. Remote role with travel up to 10% possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
Experience working with desktop publishing, word processing, and on-line documentation software
Experience working with industry writing style such as grammar, sentence form, and structure
Experience working with various software products
Ability to grasp technical solutions and convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms
Medicaid Experience preferred
Technical writing experience preferred
Proofreading and editing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for manuals, procedures and specifications in client-friendly terms
Writes, organizes, enters, and compiles online help files to support end users
Creates, compiles, and delivers system/software development documentation packages from various inputs
Participates in quality reviews of artifacts
