Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or related fields.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and basic administrative duties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in treatment rooms and resolve complex patient issues.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, procedures, surgeries and tests with medical records review.
• Obtain or verify insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Perform EMR/EHR scanning and EPIC uploads/Right Fax transmissions.
• Assist in training new team members and participate in safety initiatives.
