• Associates Degree or two years of admin/office experience.
• Experience with patient registration and scheduling.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
• Check in and register patients for appointments, confirming demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow up on cancellations, and manage waitlists.
• Verify insurance eligibility, obtain pre-authorizations when required, and collect copayments or balances.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of patient records in HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with clinical and imaging staff to minimize wait times.
• Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately.
• Assist patients with forms, wayfinding, and pre-procedure instructions.
• Monitor front-desk supplies and patient-facing materials.
• Escalate concerns to management as needed.
• Participate in department meetings and training.
