Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to the department and perform front desk functions.
• Register patients in Epic, check in/out, obtain insurance cards and collect co-pays.
• Coordinate OR scheduling, obtain authorizations, complete pre-surgical paperwork and data entry across scheduling systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and transfer information as needed while completing tasks within timeframes.
• Answer clinic phones, handle mail and fax distribution, and assist with miscellaneous duties.
