Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a Patient Registration Associate to organize day-to-day clerical functions that support quality health care. You’ll provide leadership to the clerical team and act as a key contact for providers to escalate operational issues.

This full-time evening shift requires coordinating workflow, monitoring productivity and service quality, and performing multiple registration roles as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads team in workflow processes and may provide input to performance feedback.
• Problem-solves for other Patient Services Representatives in department/practice.
• Serves as a point of contact for Providers in identifying and escalating operational issues.
• Oversees and manages productivity, performance and quality metrics.
• Performs the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate, Intermediate and Senior roles when necessary.
• Participates in safety initiatives and completes safety-related competencies and requirements.
