Job summary

Wellcare MD is a patient-centered, direct-pay medical practice seeking a friendly front office/clinical support teammate for part-time hours. You will welcome patients, triage calls, schedule visits, and assist clinicians, contributing to a compassionate patient experience.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of healthcare front office exposure, strong communication skills, and a can-do, team-oriented attitude. Remote work isn’t offered; the role focuses on in-person patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.
• Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer and triage incoming phone calls.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
• Communicate appointment details and services to patients.
• Resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Gather and verify patient information; assist with insurance verification.
