Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding patient service and ensure a smooth flow from clinical to retail teams across our Stanton Optical stores.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service, flexibility, strong communication and basic Microsoft Office; optical experience is a plus. We offer medical/dental/prescription coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off, development opportunities, and commission on sales.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and customers.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic team environment.
• Strong communication with diverse groups of people.
• Associate degree or higher, or enrollment in a comparable program.
• Schedule flexibility; work hours determined by business needs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient service and promote available products and services.
• Greet patients and identify needs to facilitate sales.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and clinical teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist management with patient complaints and inform status of orders.
• Ensure brand standards and housekeeping duties are maintained.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly goals and support clinical/operational metrics.
• Maintain patient records confidential under HIPAA.
• Assist with simple repairs, insertions/removals and edging of lenses.
• Maintain lab standards and track delivery times to ensure timely completion.
