Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients, gather information, and guide them through pre-tests and eyewear services. You will bridge retail and clinical services, ensuring a smooth, customer-first experience.

You should have 2+ years in customer service, strong communication, empathy, and the ability to multitask in a collaborative retail lab environment. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy toward patients.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to multitask in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the store and identify needs to enable an easy, memorable experience and promote services.
• Foster strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments, collect patient history, complete pre-tests and basic eye exams.
• Assist management with patient concerns and ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic lab/repair tasks to expedite orders.
• Track delivery times and ensure on-time completion of orders.
