Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding customer service at the storefront, facilitate sales, and bridge retail and clinical services. The role centers on welcoming patients, capturing information, and guiding them through the service flow while upholding brand standards and delivering a positive experience.

The position requires an associate degree or certification and 2+ years of customer-service experience, with strong communication and multitasking abilities

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Strong listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs, and promote available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule appointments, enter patient history, perform pre-tests and basic eye exams.
• Assist management with patient complaints and keep stakeholders updated on status of cases.
• Maintain brand standards with routine housekeeping and lab area organization.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock lenses, and ensure accurate and timely customer deliveries.
