Job summary

Now Optics is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to warmly greet patients, coordinate between retail and clinical services, and support eye-care delivery. You will schedule appointments, perform basic tests, collect medical history, and help ensure timely delivery of eyewear. Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or current enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients.
• Proactive with problem-solving skills to address potential patients' concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and cordial relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and present available products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and enter new patient history, perform pre-tests and basic eye tests; collect medical history.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping in store and lab areas.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock lenses, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Notify management of equipment issues and incomplete orders.
• Track delivery times to ensure 100% on-time delivery of eyeglasses.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
