Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to provide outstanding patient service in a fast-paced optical retail environment. You will bridge the clinical services and retail teams, greet customers, facilitate appointments, and support product recommendations while ensuring accurate patient records and smooth operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with HIPAA, and contributing to a strong customer experience across store operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience delivering a great patient experience.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication with diverse patients and team members.
• Associate’s degree or higher or specialized certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite 365 is preferred.
• Optical industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, identify needs and promote products and services.
• Foster collaboration between retail and clinical services teams.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage expectations.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and protect privacy.
• Assist with repairs, frame edging and order fulfillment to speed delivery.
