Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to be the meaningful first touchpoint in-store, delivering exceptional patient service and supporting both clinical and retail teams throughout the patient journey. In this role you will assist with diagnostic pre-testing, digital refraction, contact lens care and basic lab tasks, while promoting products and ensuring a smooth clinical workflow.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
• Associate degree or advanced certification; or current enrollment in related program.
• Flexibility in scheduling; hours set by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient service and facilitate a positive store experience.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and assist with promotions.
• Coordinate between retail and clinical teams and schedule appointments.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and data security.
• Assist management with issue resolution and order fulfillment.
• Support lab activities like lens edging as needed.
• Meet clinical and operational goals with accurate documentation.
