Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to provide outstanding customer service and support the clinical-to-retail transition in store. You will greet patients, relay information about products and services, and help ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The role emphasizes effective communication with diverse patients, adherence to HIPAA, and collaboration with PEG physicians to meet daily goals in a dynamic optical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma, or current enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Proactive problem solving to address potential patients’ concerns.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
• Schedule flexibility; work hours determined by business needs.
• Interest in working with technology and curiosity about innovations.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Provide information about products and services and answer inquiries.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and assist with order status and resolutions.
• Maintain patient records confidentially in compliance with HIPAA.
• Support store goals, clinical metrics, and initiatives with the team.
• Perform basic housekeeping to maintain brand standards and store cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with supervising PEG physician for guidance.
