Confluent Health is seeking a friendly, professional Care Coordinator to be the first voice and face for patients. You will manage front desk operations, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and guide patients through next steps with care and efficiency.

You will handle referrals, gather information, maintain patient records, and ensure smooth patient flow while protecting privacy and privacy standards in all interactions.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience in retail, hospitality, call center, medical reception, or any setting where you regularly interacted with the public in person or over the phone.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Confident phone communication and professionalism handling calls.
• Basic computer proficiency: scheduling software, emails, and spreadsheets.
• No prior medical experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Mansioni

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Handle front desk operations including patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals; gather information and update patient records.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up with patients.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
