Confluent Health is seeking a Care Coordinator to be the first voice and face for patients—organized, warm, and professional from the first call through every visit.

In this fast-paced front desk role you will handle check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient inquiries, while ensuring HIPAA privacy and accurate payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a customer- or patient-facing role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Comfort communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and scheduling software experience.
• We provide comprehensive training (EMR navigation, scheduling workflows, and phone etiquette).

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Handle front desk operations including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals; update patient records and explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately and track basic reconciliations.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions.
