Confluent Health is seeking a Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients. You will manage front desk operations, verify insurance, schedule visits, and support the clinical team with organized workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and scheduling software experience.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Handle front desk operations including check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays and balances accurately, with basic payment tracking when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all front desk interactions.
