Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients and guests, handle check-ins, collect co-pays, update records, and maintain smooth front-desk operations across centers.

This full-time role requires strong computer skills, good phone etiquette, and the ability to speak languages common in our communities. US work authorization is required; some college is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities served.
• US work authorization required.
• Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Some college is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information and changes in electronic medical record platform.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR platform.
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and outbound calls.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned
