Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive, patient‑centered environment. You will greet patients, manage check‑in procedures, collect co‑pays, update EMR records, and coordinate appointments while supporting a high‑touch experience for our diverse community.

You will join a service team reporting to the Practice Manager, delivering friendly, flexible, and efficient care, with opportunities to assist across centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve.
• US work authorization.
• Experience in customer service setting strongly preferred.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests at the front desk.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with forms.
• Collecting co-pays and updating patient information in the EMR.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR system.
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls as instructed.
• Maintaining tidiness in Welcome/Community Room areas.
• Occasional float to other centers in the region.
