Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inviting environment for patients and guests. You will handle front-desk tasks, check-in forms, co-pays, and EMR updates, ensuring a smooth patient flow and accurate data entry.

You will manage phone lines, coordinate appointments, and support a high-touch patient experience across centers as needed. This full-time role offers benefits and growth within a patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information in the EMR system.
• Scheduling or rescheduling appointments in the EMR system.
• Answering and routing phone calls; making outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintenance of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region occasionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
