Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison (Non‑RN) to support the Call Center and Practice, delivering excellent customer service to patients while handling referrals and maintaining productivity standards.

The role requires a professional appearance, emotional stability, adaptability to flexible work schedules, confidentiality, and the ability to guide patients through the clinic processes; prior office experience and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge and two year medical office experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly, with a professional greeting including the company name and their own name.
• Maintain defined performance metrics as outlined in productivity standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patients per guidelines and policies.
• Verify and update patient information and enter corrections into the computer.
• Ensure patients are registered properly and information is up to date.
• Take and route messages for staff and providers as appropriate.
• Cooperate in cross-training of clinic specialties for adequate coverage.
• Process referrals in work queues and schedule patients from referrals.
• Orient new patients to the Clinic and inform them of financial policies.
• Manage appointment requests.
• Assist supervisors with varied office duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
