Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison (Non‑RN) to support the Call Center and Practice by delivering exceptional patient service while handling all call center responsibilities. The role requires professionalism, emotional stability, flexible scheduling, confidentiality, and effective referral handling to maintain productivity standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and prior medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good typing and general clerical abilities; strong telephone skills.
• Medical terminology preferred; two years of medical office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly with a professional greeting including the company name and their own name.
• Maintain defined performance metrics per productivity standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patients according to guidelines.
• Verify and update patient information; enter changes into the computer.
• Register patients accurately and update all patient data in the system.
• Take messages and route to appropriate staff as needed.
• Cross-train across clinic specialties to ensure coverage.
• Process referrals from queues and schedule patients.
• Orient new patients to the Clinic and inform them of financial policies.
• Assist with appointment requests and other office duties as needed.
