Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group seeks a Doctor Technician to be the primary patient touchpoint in our on-site store, delivering exceptional customer service and guiding patients from clinical care to retail products.

You will greet patients, assess needs, explain available products and services, schedule appointments, and support seamless daily operations while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond high school or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Strong communication with diverse groups.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor.
• Proactive problem solving for patient concerns.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt.
• Schedule flexibility; hours based on business needs.
• Interest in technology and current innovations.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with team to meet store goals and clinical metrics.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services.
• Answer inquiries and gather information for a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and update on pending orders.
• Maintain brand standards and basic housekeeping as needed.
• Keep patient records confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
