Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of financial, business, physician office, or customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of validating patient demographics and insurance information.
• Familiarity with CPT and diagnosis coding preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
• Comfort collecting payments in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage the reception workflow.
• Collect co-payments, pre-payments, and other payments; review balances.
• Enter charges promptly and accurately; process referrals.
• Greet patients professionally and maintain a friendly entry/exit.
• Possibly float to other practices to support staffing needs.
