• Experience in healthcare patient access preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail for registration, billing, and documentation.
• Ability to communicate financial responsibilities and collect payments when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across assigned access points with accurate demographic information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in real time.
• Document and manage patient information in the electronic health record.
• Explain financial responsibilities using established scripts and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule, confirm, and revise patient appointments per clinic workflow.
• Identify and resolve routine registration, insurance, and encounter discrepancies; escalate complex cases per procedures.
• Provide patient-facing support via telephone and other approved channels.
