Qualifications

• Ability to review information and draw appropriate conclusions.
• Good judgment and problem-solving; elevate issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, update insurance information, schedule visits, and coordinate appointment scheduling.
• Interact with a diverse patient population.
• Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records and registration details.
• Ensure proper consents for wards of the state; work with proxies for required consents.
• Adhere to payer requirements for referrals and authorizations.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals and prior authorizations.
• Communicate professionally with providers, patients, care team, and insurers.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain a professional image per dress code.
