Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• English speaking, reading and writing skills required.
• Strong intrapersonal and communication skills.
• Preferred: scheduling and/or phone customer services experience; healthcare experience; bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls to schedule patient appointments.
• Scheduling across multiple providers, clinics, and campuses.
• Make outbound calls to schedule appointments with specialists.
• Collect patient demographics, insurance information, and guarantor details.
• Process updates to patient insurance and demographic information.
• Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service.
• Schedule in-office procedures and coordinate rooms for procedures.
