Job summary

SoulCycle in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a part-time front desk/customer service associate. You will deliver hospitality to clients, support studio management, and help maintain the studio’s retail operations and overall vibe.

Responsibilities include assisting instructors, training new front desk staff, and keeping the space clean and organized. Availability includes weekends and peak holiday periods, with pay shown as $18.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various personalities.
• Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude and friendly phone/email etiquette.
• Superior organizational skill.
• Availability for at least 3 days per week totaling 20 hours, including a Saturday or Sunday.
• Availability for peak holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients.
• Assist the Studio Management in daily studio tasks and projects.
• Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative.
• Support SoulCycle instructors to ensure a smooth class check-in process.
• Work as a cohesive team with SoulCycle staff to ensure efficiency and camaraderie.
• Assist with training and coaching of new front desk staff.
• Maintain knowledge of studio retail products.
• Uphold the SoulCycle aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture.
• Studio cleaning and prepping, including equipment, floors and mirrors.
• Clean common areas including front desk, lockers, retail shelves, office and hallways.
• Clean bathrooms and changing rooms.
