Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Project team member to serve as the Owner's Representative for projects across Austin and San Antonio, delivering scope, schedule, and budget in alignment with contract documents.

Responsibilities include developing PMPs, providing oversight through all phases, coordinating with clients and sub-consultants, and mentoring staff while maintaining strong communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited program.
• 5-10+ years of construction-related experience, with active management and oversight.
• Experience coordinating with government/owner on multi-trade projects and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects.
• Provide PM oversight during all phases and create/update schedules and budgets.
• Develop and implement QA programs and manage sub-consultants.
• Coordinate with the client and project team, and prepare bid packages.
• Lead and manage staff, providing leadership, coaching, and performance feedback.
