Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to lead construction management efforts in Austin, TX. This role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, applying engineering and construction knowledge across all project phases.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure compliance with contract documents while representing the Owner’s interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or related field from an accredited program.
• 5–10+ years of experience in a construction related discipline.
• Experience with higher education, municipal or county projects and coordination with Government/Owner on construction issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers and contractors.
• Coordinate and assist senior leaders with marketing proposals and staff development.
• Provide project management oversight and develop/maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare bid packages, manage sub-consultants and interface with clients and project team.
• Oversee field and office activities, ensuring work complies with contract documents.
