Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Project team member to serve as Owner’s Representative across all project stages, delivering scope, schedule, and budget with oversight and QA.

The candidate will coordinate with clients and internal teams, manage multi-trade field activities, and commute between Austin and San Antonio as needed. A civil/CM background and 5–10+ years in construction are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or related field.
• 5–10+ years’ experience in a construction related discipline.
• Experience with higher education, municipal or county projects that involved the active management, oversight and/or inspection of multiple construction trades and close coordination with the Government/Owner on construction issues

Responsibilities

• Perform Owner’s Representative duties throughout all project stages.
• Provide construction project oversight using engineering principles to interpret and execute client goals.
• Ensure work follows contract documents and act as technical advisor to the Owner and project team.
• Deliver projects including scope, schedule and budget
