Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. seeks a Project team member to serve as the Owner’s Representative through all project stages, applying general engineering and construction principles to meet client goals.

You will deliver scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clients and the project team. The role requires commuting to client sites between Austin and San Antonio five days a week.

Strong communication, leadership, and QA program development are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or related field.
• 5–10+ years in a construction-related discipline with oversight experience.
• Experience with EDG/government/Owner coordination on projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s Representative through all project stages.
• Provide construction project oversight and interpret contract documents.
• Lead scheduling, budgeting, and QA programs for projects.
• Coordinate with client, section heads, and project team.
• Prepare bids, manage sub-consultants, and oversee staff.
