Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Project Manager/Owner's Representative to deliver projects from inception through completion, maintaining scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors and overseeing staff across Austin and San Antonio sites.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in civil engineering or related field, 5-10+ years of construction experience, and credentials such as CCM/PMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or a related field.
• 5-10+ years' experience in a construction related discipline.
• Experience with higher education, municipal or county projects involving active management and coordination with Owner on construction issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors.
• Develop PM Plans (PMP) for assigned projects and provide oversight across all phases.
• Create and maintain project schedules; prepare and update cost estimates and budgets.
• Coordinate sub-consultants and interface with client and project team.
• Prepare bid packages and assist with contractor procurement; monitor schedules and budgets.
• Oversee and manage assigned staff; review and approve invoicing; participate in client presentations.
