Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Construction Management/Inspection - Facilities professional to serve as Owner’s Representative across projects in Texas. The role requires coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with contract documents.

You will develop PMPs, manage schedules and budgets, oversee sub-consultants, and prepare client invoices. Travel between Austin and San Antonio is required five days a week, with both office and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or a related field from an accredited program.
• 5-10+ years’ experience in a construction related discipline.
• Experience with higher education, municipal or county projects that involved active management, oversight and/or inspection and coordination with Government/Owner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors.
• Lead and manage team members with leadership and performance management.
• Develop Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects.
• Provide project management oversight during all phases of the project.
• Create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare bid packages and assist with contractor procurement.
• Coordinate and interface with the client and project team.
