Job summary

Thryv in Rochester, MN is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow Thryv's SaaS client base in the local market. You will build your own pipeline with self-generated and company-initiated prospecting, while expanding existing Thryv clients for additional opportunities.

Over 50% of work occurs outside the home office in a remote-first role. Responsibilities include prospecting, securing new SaaS clients, executing defined sales processes, and participating in training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct sales experience, preferably in a SaaS role or company.
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (networks, referrals) and company-initiated programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (cadences, product demos, order entry, etc.).
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
