Job summary

Spectrum outside sales representative role involves face-to-face engagement with potential residential customers to expand access to Spectrum's high-speed data and communication solutions. You will visit assigned leads, conduct needs analyses, present tailored proposals, and drive revenue in a competitive market.

Expect a base salary with lucrative incentives; total compensation can exceed $100,000 per year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services.
• A passion to succeed and strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories using own vehicle.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends to maximize contact.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and report insights to your manager.
