Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect communities with Spectrum's high-speed data, TV, mobile and voice services. You will meet face-to-face with prospective customers, qualify needs, and present tailored proposals to close deals.

The role emphasizes field-based work, travel in assigned territories, and occasional evenings/weekends. Base pay plus incentives can lead to total compensation over $100,000 annually, with access to Spectrum services for employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
• Able to travel in assigned territories and in inclement weather.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum's offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum's solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across Spectrum high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and report insights to management.
