Aspire Bakeries in West Columbia, SC is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery Production - 1st Shift to operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This role supports multiple bakery areas and contributes to reliable production flow.

You will monitor equipment, execute changeovers, maintain records, troubleshoot issues, and uphold GMP standards in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to work successfully as part of a high-performing team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to comply with food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure product quality and food safety compliance.
• Set up, start, stop, and perform equipment changeovers to support production schedules and recipe requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation to support operational efficiency and compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP and food safety standards.
• Support production and packaging operations across multiple bakery areas based on business needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery Production - 1st Shift to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery Production - 1st Shift, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment while ensuring products consistently meet quality and food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining efficient production flow, supporting equipment reliability, and driving operational performance across multiple bakery production areas.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure product quality and food safety compliance.
• Set up, start, stop, and perform equipment changeovers to support production schedules and recipe requirements.
