Aspire Bakeries is hiring an Operator 3, Bakery–Production for the Cayce, SC bakery. You will run automated production and packaging lines, ensure products meet quality and food safety standards, and support a high‑performing manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Second shift hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment to meet quality specs.
• Monitor product quality and complete required documentation for regulatory and company standards.
• Support production line start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with GMP and safety rules.
• Rotate across production and packaging operations to support changing business needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery–Production, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe, high‑performing manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve production, food safety, and quality objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high‑performing team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify basic mechanical issues.
