Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in Cayce, South Carolina is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Production-3rd Shift to run and monitor automated production and packaging lines, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality bakery operations.

You will perform setup, troubleshoot equipment, maintain records, and uphold GMPs and food safety while collaborating with the production team. 3rd shift hours 9:45pm–6:15am; weekends as needed; 50 lb lifting and physical tasks required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment to achieve production and quality objectives.
• Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain efficient operations and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production, quality and operational records.
• Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers to support production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and established operating procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with production team members to achieve operational goals and drive efficiency.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Production-3rd Shift to join our team at our Cayce, South Carolina bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery-Production-3rd Shift, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring automated production and packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent bakery operations. This role plays a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, production performance, and continuous operational flow within the bakery.

• Hours: 9:45pm-6:15am
• Weekends: As Required by the business

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food manufacturing or bakery production experience.
• Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.
• Basic computer skills.
