Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Washington, DC is seeking a Technology Support Analyst to provide technology support for the local office. The role supports software, hardware, infrastructure, network services, mobile and remote services, audio visual, telephone and security systems.

This position operates onsite with a 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm EST shift and reports to Senior Technology Support Analyst and Technology Manager.

Qualifications

• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Citrix, Windows and Mac Environments.
• Ability to apply logic, reasoning, analysis and interpretation to resolve problems
• Strong customer service skills and effective interpersonal communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities

Responsibilities

• Responds to local and central telephone helpline, supports tickets and e-mail, logs all calls and resolves or escalates as appropriate.
• Provides application support for local installations and Citrix-based applications.
• Assembles, installs, configures, tests, images, troubleshoots and repairs hardware and peripherals.
• Maintains data room components, data closets and troubleshoots networking issues in conjunction with the Technology Manager/Supervisor.
• Supports all personnel adds, moves and changes and maintains inventory records.
