Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Chicago is seeking a Technology Support Analyst, onsite with a Monday-to-Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm shift. You will deliver technology support across software, hardware, network, mobile, audio-visual and security systems for the local office, coordinating with central resources in White Plains.

You will work under senior staff, manage device provisioning, remote site setups, and ensure best practices in security while providing excellent customer

Qualifications

• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Citrix, Windows and Mac Environments.
• Ability to apply logic, reasoning, analysis and interpretation to resolve problems.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of security considerations for firm computer systems.
• Experience with Citrix, NetDocuments, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Responds to local and central telephone helpline, supports tickets and e-mail, logs calls and resolves or escalates as appropriate.
• Provides application support for local installations and Citrix-based applications.
• Assembles, installs, configures, tests and repairs hardware and peripherals.
• Maintains data room components, data closets and troubleshoots networking issues with the Technology Manager/Supervisor.
• Supports personnel adds, moves and changes and maintains inventory records.
• Ensures security of the Firm's systems and assists with remote site access.
