Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.

As an onsite leader, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, and support marketing and leasing efforts while maintaining high resident satisfaction and avoiding operational risk.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years in housing industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under Community Manager supervision.
• Assist in delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Post payments and income from applicants, residents, and others accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, and manage evictions as needed.
• Assist with budgeting, revenues, expenses, and NOI to meet financial targets.
• Supervise onsite staff, conduct training, coaching, and performance guidance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
