Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations, financial functions, and staff supervision at a housing community. You will manage rent collection, accounts receivable, and ensure timely reporting while supporting leasing, maintenance and resident relations.

The role partners with the Community Manager to maintain budgeted performance, enforce policy, and uphold safety and fair housing standards across properties nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and financial functions under Community Manager.
• Post payments and reconcile receivables.
• Monitor delinquency and assist with evictions.
• Ensure budgeted revenues and Net Operating Income.
• Maintain records and audit resident files.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate with maintenance.
• Support leasing, marketing, and resident retention programs.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing guidelines and safety standards.
